gloria anzaldúa já não caminha entre nós, desde maio último
foi uma das feministas que quebrou o pretenso discurso hegemônico feminista branco, classe média, identitário, "da mulher", abrindo novos horizontes de enunciação, fincados nas experiências de raça, classe, cor, etc.
Sua escrita é inovadora, plena de fissuras linguísticas, un trabalho que constrói um lugar de fala ex-centrico, um locus afirmativo de uma expressão em movimento, sem raízes defiidas, um manifesto rizomático. As fronteiras, com Glória Anzaldúa, foram feitas para ser transpostas tantas vêzes que acabam por desaparecer, a fadiga dos passos instala a passagem e o entre-dois torna-se a experiência única de uma travessia singular. Chicana, lesbiana, feminista, "mestiza", todas identidades ilusórias que abrem um espaço fora das normas, fora das bordas, os "borderlands" da Gloria Anzaldúa são, finalmetne, a fluidez do trânsito, do transitório.
Gloria Anzaldúa, você nos fará falta.

" Border are set up to define the places thar are safe and unsafe, to distinguish us from them. A border is a dividing line , a narrow strip along a steep edge. A borderland is a vague and undetermined place created by the emotional residue of an unnatural bounderary. It is in a constante state of transition. The prohibited and forbidden are its inhabitants.
